GAUGE RODS

Les tiges d'écartement sont fabriquées
pour être utilisées aux points faibles dans le rail, courbe prononcée, coeur de croisement, remplacement de dormant en bois endommagé, rail placé temporairement, ballast faible, etc...

Les tiges d' écartement maintiennent et empêchent l' écartement du rail et préviennent la destabilisation des rail.

Gauge rods are designed for installation at weak points in track, sharp curves, switches, bad ties, temporary track, poor ballast, etc.. Gauge rods hold track to gauge by preventing spreading of rails. It will eliminate respiking of track and prevent tilting of rail.

Gauge Rod Design 858 for light rails is made of 29/32 in. diam rod
with a forged hook on one end and a malleable adjustable clip with
a square nut and spring lock washer on the other end. This rod has
1-in. diam rolled threads.

Gauge Rod Design 853-F for heavier rails 1 1/4-in. diam with a
bent hook on one end, and a forged adjustable clip with square
nut and spring lock washer on the other end.
